Collection: AquaGuard Hardwood Floor Vents

AquaGuard is a store brand sold at Floor & Decor. Our hardwood vents drop into the duct opening level with the floor, with no raised frame on top. Send the color name and sizes for a quote.

Things to know before you order

AquaGuard locks together edge to edge and floats, so the whole floor moves a little with the seasons. Installers normally leave some room around fixed openings. Give us the size of the hole as it was cut, not the size of the old register, so the vent fits what is actually in your floor.

Board thickness is the detail people forget. AquaGuard is about 7 to 7.4 mm, and a vent face that is meant to sit flush needs to match that height. A leftover board is the easiest way to measure it.

AquaGuard belongs to Floor & Decor, so you won't find it at an independent dealer. Your receipt or the carton label has the color name and item number we need.

AquaGuard vent questions

Why is there no price on the AquaGuard vent?

Hardwood vents are quoted per job for now. Send your sizes, the collection and the color, and we will reply with a price.

Can you match an AquaGuard floor that went in years ago?

Usually, yes. A leftover board from the original install helps most, because finishes change with age and sunlight.

Does it matter whether my AquaGuard floor is click or tongue-and-groove?

Not for the vent sizes. It does help us picture the opening, so mention it in your quote request.

Which vent sizes work with AquaGuard hardwood?

We make hardwood floor vents in 2x10, 2x12, 2x14, 4x10, 4x12, 4x14, 6x10, 6x12 and 6x14 inches; returns in 6x20, 6x24, 6x30, 6x36, 8x20, 8x24, 8x30 and 8x36 inches. Measure the opening in the floor to pick yours.

How thick is AquaGuard flooring?

about 7 to 7.4 mm, per retailer listings. Measure a spare board to be sure, since lines differ.
