Getting the fit right
Bellawood sells both solid and engineered boards. They are not the same height, so check which one is in your house before measuring. Our vent product here is for engineered floors.
Bellawood belongs to LL Flooring, so you won't find it at an independent dealer. Your receipt or the carton label has the color name and item number we need.
Wider boards make a vent more noticeable, simply because the cut sits in the middle of so much uninterrupted grain. Mention your board width when you ask about a Bellawood vent.
Whether your Bellawood floor was nailed down or floated over pad, the duct cutout is the part that matters for a vent. Ask your installer, or just measure it yourself with the old cover off.
Bellawood vent questions
What sizes can you make a Bellawood vent in?
2x10, 2x12, 2x14, 4x10, 4x12, 4x14, 6x10, 6x12 and 6x14 inches. Matching cold air returns come in 6x20, 6x24, 6x30, 6x36, 8x20, 8x24, 8x30 and 8x36 inches.
Why is there no price on the Bellawood vent?
Hardwood vents are quoted per job for now. Send your sizes, the collection and the color, and we will reply with a price.
Where do I find my Bellawood color name?
On your LL Flooring receipt or the carton label, along with the item number.
My Bellawood floor is a few years old. Does that matter?
Wood mellows with light, so an older Bellawood floor may not match a new sample. Keep a spare board from your own install if you have one.
