Things to know before you order

Most rooms have a cold air return too, and it's often the bigger eyesore. We make returns to match in 6x20, 6x24, 6x30, 6x36, 8x20, 8x24, 8x30 and 8x36 inches.

Engineered boards with a thick enough top layer can be sanded and refinished. If you expect to refinish your Fuzion floor someday, tell us now so the vent is planned with that in mind.

Wood looks different at noon than it does under lamps at night. If you send photos of your Fuzion floor with the quote request, take one in daylight near a window.

Real wood color shifts from one production run to the next, and species like hickory swing a lot from board to board. The best match comes from a board out of the same cartons that went on your floor, so hang on to a leftover piece.

The carton label lists the collection and color. Your installer's invoice usually has it too.

Can you match a Fuzion floor that went in years ago?

Usually, yes. A leftover board from the original install helps most, because finishes change with age and sunlight.
