Details that matter on a wood floor
Lauzon sells both solid and engineered boards. They are not the same height, so check which one is in your house before measuring. Our vent product here is for engineered floors.
If your Lauzon floor has been down a while, the finish has aged. A leftover board from the original install is worth more than a fresh sample.
Pull the old register and measure the opening underneath it. That opening is the vent size you order.
Wood looks different at noon than it does under lamps at night. If you send photos of your Lauzon floor with the quote request, take one in daylight near a window.
