Mannington can go down several ways: glue, staple, nail or float. The method under your floor does not change the vent, but the board thickness and the opening size do, so those are the two numbers we ask for.

Wide planks make every opening more visible. On Mannington, at 7-1/2 inches on Latitude, a duct hole can take up most of one board, which is why a flush vent looks so much cleaner than a raised register.

A wire-brushed surface catches light differently than a smooth one. A painted steel register stands out against that grain, while a flush vent made for the floor keeps the texture running through the room.
