Fitting a vent into Mohawk TecWood

Some Mohawk TecWood lines click and float, others are tongue-and-groove and get fastened down. Check the carton or your invoice for which one went in. Either way, measure the duct opening in the floor and send us that.

Board thickness is the detail people forget. Mohawk TecWood is 3/8, 1/2 or 9/16 inch, and a vent face that is meant to sit flush needs to match that height. A leftover board is the easiest way to measure it.

Hardwood vents come in 2x10, 2x12, 2x14, 4x10, 4x12, 4x14, 6x10, 6x12 and 6x14 inches. If your opening isn't on that list, ask anyway when you request a quote.
