Details that matter on a wood floor
Installers can put Shaw down by nailing, stapling, gluing or floating. Whatever was used in your house, the vent drops into the opening from above, so we just need the hole size and how thick the boards are.
With a 1.2 mm face on some Shaw lines, a full sand-down is usually not in the cards. That makes matching the current finish the whole job, so send the exact color name.
Shaw sits at 1/2 inch (Repel), which is a good deal thicker than most vinyl plank. A flush vent has to land level with the top of the boards, so measure a spare piece with a tape or caliper and put that on the quote request.

Shaw vent questions
How thick is Shaw flooring?
1/2 inch (Repel), per the manufacturer. Measure a spare board to be sure, since lines differ.
Where do I find my Shaw color name?
The carton label lists the collection and color. Your installer's invoice usually has it too.
My Shaw floor is a few years old. Does that matter?
Wood mellows with light, so an older Shaw floor may not match a new sample. Keep a spare board from your own install if you have one.
Where can I see Shaw colors?
Floor City, our partner store, carries Shaw. Their Shaw page lists current colors.
Why is there no price on the Shaw vent?
Hardwood vents are quoted per job for now. Send your sizes, the collection and the color, and we will reply with a price.
